Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Representative serves as a critical link between the field and internal operations, providing hands-on expertise in cabinet installation quality, service resolution, product knowledge, and jobsite support. This role ensures that our cabinet products are delivered, installed, and serviced according to the highest standards, while also acting as a technical liaison to customers, builders, and internal teams.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct jobsite visits to inspect cabinet installations, address service issues, and ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with installation teams and builders to resolve technical issues on-site quickly and professionally.
  • Perform minor cabinet adjustments, punch-out items, or warranty work when necessary.
  • Provide technical guidance to internal staff, customers, and subcontractors regarding product specifications, installation procedures, and warranty standards.
  • Document and report field issues, product defects, and recurring challenges to operations and procurement teams for improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the scheduler, service coordinator, and installation manager to ensure timely and efficient resolution of field concerns.
  • Assist in jobsite readiness evaluations and pre-construction meetings when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product changes, construction methods, and builder preferences.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 2+ years of experience in cabinet installation, service, or technical field support in the construction or homebuilding industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and cabinet layouts.
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple jobsite priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; company vehicle may be provided.
