Gilbert Christian Schools is looking for an organized and creative multimedia specialist to work with our Marketing and Communications team to film, photograph and design content that tells the story of the GCS community. This includes creating video content for internal/external communications, events and social media. Key to this is staying up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more engaging and effective. To be successful in this role, you must be an initiative-taker and able to work creatively in a fast-paced work environment. At the heart of this job is the clear skill of storytelling and a desire to invite others into what God is doing through Gilbert Christian Schools.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, film and edit a range of marketing videos for GCS
- Create video content for internal and external communications
- Act as the primary photographer for GCS
- Create and administer content for social media channels
- Work as part of the Marketing & Communications Team and District Staff
- Stay current with industry trends
- Attend and capture content at GCS events when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED required
- IVP Level 1 Clearance Card and successful completion of background check
- Valid AZ driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Two + years of videography related experience
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Creative and artistic ability
- Compelling portfolio with a wide range of work
- Wears many creative hats
- Excellent time-management skills
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism
- Passion to bring Christian education to as many families as possible
