Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures including adjustments and appliance placement
- Take orthodontic records, including X-rays, impressions, and photos
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances and wires as directed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care tailored to their treatment needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment area to support clinical efficiency
- Support patient comfort and confidence throughout treatment visits
- Assist with patient records and charting to accurately reflect treatment progress

Requirements
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience required
- Current Dental Assistant certification/registration as required by state law (e.g., Washington State Dental Assistant Registration)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent chairside manner
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages—especially children and teens
- Familiarity with orthodontic software systems (Dolphin experience a plus)
