Experience & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures including adjustments and appliance placement
  • Take orthodontic records, including X-rays, impressions, and photos
  • Place and remove orthodontic appliances and wires as directed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care tailored to their treatment needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment area to support clinical efficiency  
  • Support patient comfort and confidence throughout treatment visits 
  • Assist with patient records and charting to accurately reflect treatment progress

Requirements
  • Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience required
  • Current Dental Assistant certification/registration as required by state law (e.g., Washington State Dental Assistant Registration) 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent chairside manner 
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality 
  • Comfortable working with patients of all ages—especially children and teens
  • Familiarity with orthodontic software systems (Dolphin experience a plus)

Salary Description
$21-$23 hourly
