Main Function: To administer senior services provided by Crouse Community Center with major attention to ensuring the creation of an environment that orients itself to wellness and growth in the absence of site manager. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the provision of services to registrants, including but not limited to, medical, nursing, preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, recreational, and psychosocial as well as transportation.
2. Assigning and supervising activities of all personnel to ensure that registrants receive assistance in accordance with their needs.
3.  Ensure that the quality of nursing care provided to the registrants is based on the Standard of Gerontological Nursing Practice as well as policies and procedures of the nursing department in addition to individualized care plans.
4.  Maintains infection control policies and procedures.
5. Complete daily registered nursing responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures of nursing department including administration of daily medication per individual medication administration records.
6. Complete documentation as appropriate under policy and procedures of nursing department.
7.  Participates in pre-admission screening, the admission process, and discharge procedures as required and appropriate in the absence of site manager.
8.  Ensure the maintenance of general records as required.
9. Assist staff with the completion of ADL tasks including mealtimes.
10. Accompany program on outings outside of building as scheduled.
11.  Participates in the activities of the following committees as appropriate:

· Quality Assurance

· Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team
