Position Summary:
The Parts Specialist at the storefront of Treeline’s Service Center (TSC) fills numerous vital roles. The Parts Specialist is a key facilitator regarding all matters concerning the identification, sourcing, and fund allocation of repair parts and other consumables required as part of the daily operations of Treeline staff. The Parts Specialist of Treeline serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the industry they serve by providing a high standard of service and professionalism both in person and over digital communications. The Parts Specialist must be a well-rounded, organized individual capable of performing satisfactorily across all product lines and services offered under the scope of operations of the Treeline Service Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Efficiently procure repair parts and consumables needed by Treeline employees and outside customers alike.
· Compare pricing across multiple sources of supply to ensure the most cost-effective and high-quality parts are acquired.
· Facilitates counter and telephone sales and suggests add-on items as appropriate.
· Make over the counter and telephone sales; invoice customers and take payments.
· Assist customers in parts selection; provide technical information and advice.
· Maintain a high level of customer service.
· Assists in the accurate documentation of repair workorders as required.
· Accurately completes all invoices and forms utilized during daily operations.
· Professionally build hydraulic hose assemblies as required.
· Safely operate Powered Lifting Equipment (PLE) once trained and certified to support daily operations.
· Assist in unpacking and packing of parts for shipment and receiving.
· Serves as a Safety Officer alongside fellow employees to ensure OSHA compliance as required.
· Assist in physical inventory and routine inventory maintenance.
· Responsible for overall cleanliness and appearance of sales floor and inventory back rooms.
· Utilize strong interpersonal skills in interacting with customers, vendors, and employees.
· Complete other tasks pertaining to the general operation within Treeline’s Parts Dept.
· Contributes to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
· Maintains personal safety and watches out for the safety of others.
· Accepts and appreciates others watching out for their safety.
· Comply with all OSHA safety guidelines.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· 3 years of work experience in an industrial/heavy duty/automotive/retail environment (preferred)
· Direct experience in use/repair of industrial/heavy duty/automotive equipment
· Good writing, communication, and math skills
· Competent with computers, Internet use, and Microsoft Office
· Good organizational skills; neat and orderly with paperwork and records.
· Desirable: CPR/First Aid card.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
· Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods
· Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds
· Regular bending, stooping, and reaching
· Reach at or above shoulder height frequently
· Frequent use of both hands
· Very accurate near vision; accurate far vision
· Minimal color discrimination and depth perception
· The ability to work at all temperatures
· Exposure to periodic moderate to fairly loud noise, below 85db
