About the Role
DeliverIt Group is urgently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure medication safety, support patient care, and uphold compliance with all regulations. This role is ideal for a clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a direct impact on patient well-being and operational excellence.
A $6,000 sign-on bonus is included!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring high-quality performance and workflow efficiency.
- Oversee prescription processing, medication dispensing, and clinical verification.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, prevent shortages, and manage ordering and recalls.
- Provide exceptional patient counseling, support, and medication education.
- Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient medication needs.
- Administer vaccinations safely and in compliance with state requirements.
- Support community marketing and healthcare networking initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Prepare compound medications and perform medication therapy management (MTM) as needed.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh).
- Active Texas Pharmacy Board License.
- Experience in community marketing and healthcare outreach (required).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and compounding.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy systems (PioneerRx, MatchRx) and Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail, strong integrity, and a patient-centered mindset.
- Spanish proficiency encouraged.
