Description

Project Managers, Client Services assist the Client Services Management teams with overseeing projects while meeting target dates to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing high level support projects as well as multi­-division projects
  • Writing project charters and statements of work for various projects assigned, including but not limited to ongoing service and education, development work, updates, and Meaningful Use
  • Identifying project risks and putting in plans to mitigate risks
  • Leading a variety of projects with ease and communicating directly with project team, C-level staff, and MEDITECH management teams
  • Helping Client Services gain efficiency via various initiatives
  • Collaborating with different teams throughout the company to help define organizational priorities, goals, and objectives while developing and maintaining successful relationships
  • Understanding MEDITECH's goals, solutions, and strategic initiatives in order to effectively communicate the information internally to management and staff as well as externally to customers and project leads
  • Collaborating with other groups and divisions within MEDITECH on development of customer communications materials and tools for newer initiatives
  • Contributing to the Project Manager group to help foster collaboration and team building and offer new ideas for process improvements, etc.
  • Demonstrating professionalism and respect. Upholding the standards of the company as outlined in our Code of Ethical Conduct
  • Driving between MEDITECH buildings as needed
  • This position requires 10-15% of local, domestic, and/or international business travel. Such travel requires: the appropriate travel documents, the ability to legally drive in that location and/or rent a car to drive to any location necessary for business purposes, and the ability to incur the expenses associated with such travel (business travel will be reimbursed as detailed in the handbook).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or 2-3 years applicable work or military experience
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills; ability to multi-­task and meet tight deadlines
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) a plus, or other project management course work preferred
  • 3-5 years MEDITECH experience, preferably in an application area but will consider other strong candidates
  • Basic understanding of software architecture and hardware requirements (will train)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as thorough documentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to remain positive and work through issues in a calm and professional manner
  • Exceptional self ­management skills that support the ability to work well independently and as part of a team resulting in fostering strong team work
  • Ability to interact with, and achieve support from, other groups within MEDITECH
  • High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Understanding and working knowledge of healthcare industry practices and ability to articulate them to both customers and MEDITECH
  • Hold a valid driver's license.

Hiring salary range: $60,000- $75,600 per year.

Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

This is a hybrid role which includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
