We specialize in the collection of road condition data and right-of-way assets (things like signs, streetlights, and sidewalks). The data is collected through a variety of technology solutions including electronic sensors and observations captured through touch screens. The data is post processed and analyzed to produce an asset inventory, financial evaluation and operating plan for our clients.

IMS is recruiting for a Sidewalk Survey Technician to operate a modified ATV/Quad throughout North America to assess sidewalks for cracks, trip hazards, and wheelchair ramps for various City and county governments.
This is a 100% travel position. You would be part of a crew of operators who spend approximately 3-12 weeks in a city or county collecting data. All travel costs for work purposes are covered including hotel accommodations, fuel, and per diem for meal and personal expenses.
No direct experience is required, as IMS will provide on the job training - if you bring the right attitude, we will provide the technical training to make a successful career. The ideal candidate will bring to IMS the willingness to learn with a keen orientation to detail and quality of work.
