Job Title: BOH Culinary Staff
Department: Food & Beverage

Status: Seasonal FT

Reporting To: F&B Manager


Position Overview:


Powder Mountain is currently building our 25/26 winter season culinary team! We are seeking friendly, and team-oriented individuals to be part of our culinary F&B facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food, sauces, and produce for meals.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, orderly, well stocked.
  • Follow instruction, prep for dining services.
  • Wash dishes.
  • Adherence to early morning starts and potential late evenings.
  • Willing to be a team player, excellent communication skills, eager to learn and follow directions

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the safe and proper usage and maintenance of commercial Kitchen Equipment, such as: Ovens, Grills, Fryers, Knives, Blenders, etc.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Utah Food Handlers Permit - required
  • Cooperative and open minded outlook
  • Willing to learn and grow as a team player
  • Knife safety and skills
  • Kitchen Etiquette
  • Reliable means of transportation to commute up and down the mountain to get to work location
  • 1-2  years of working in a kitchen/culinary experience

Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20+ lbs.
  • Ability to continually bend, kneel, and reach
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8+ hours)
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills (knives, slicers, mixers, pots, pans, other sharp objects, electrical shocks, etc: AGE DEPENDENT)


Working Environment:


Generally, in an indoor setting with occasional exposure to outdoor environments. While performing duties of this job, the team member will be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. This position is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate to loud.

Salary Description
$20 - $23.50/hr
