Description
Heavy Equipment Operator is a full-time hourly position. The work schedule will be Monday - Saturday.
WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION
- Operate large excavating equipment in an industrial setting unloading material from various types of trailers.
- Sort material by type and place in the proper storage area.
- Communicate with fellow employees on operating procedures and securing material.
- Move material from storage to production conveyor.
- Perform pre and post operational checklist on equipment to maintain the optimum operation of equipment on a daily basis.
- Follow all safety rules of the facility.
- Follow instructions from the crew leader of the department.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
- Compliance with Employee Handbook
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience operating large excavating equipment on a daily basis.
- Capable of sitting and operating equipment on a 9-hour work schedule.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
