Founded in 2007, Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) a Woman Owned Small Business, specializes in healthcare information solutions with an emphasis on technology spectrum. IGS partners with government and commercial clients to tackle the most challenging healthcare information technology issues including large scale implementations, business informatics, analytics, and electronic health record support.
IGS is currently recruiting for a remote Technical Writer I to support our work with the Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service (IHS).
Assignment of Work and Travel:
This is a remote access assignment. Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely access IHS systems and therein use approved IHS provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.
The Technical Writer I will be responsible for assisting in writing and/or editing technical documents, including business proposals, reports, user manuals, installation manual, security manual, RoboHelp file, Test scripts, briefings and presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training material, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements.
