Job Summary:
To develop and oversee a ministry to Young Adults (College and Young Singles) ages 18–30ish, providing Biblical leadership and fostering assimilation into the church body and into an active, growing walk with Christ. This role will champion the vision of Green Acres Baptist Church by helping Young Adults Connect to Jesus, Grow in His likeness, and Multiply for His purpose.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan for and promote a ministry to Young Adults that includes but is not limited to:
- Multiplying Connect Groups (on and off campus)
- Developing and implementing a Young Adult Ministry strategy for multi-site (new campuses)
- Planning and executing events, activities, and fellowship opportunities.
- Creating a clear discipleship and leadership development pipeline
- Coordinating annual mission trips, retreats, and service opportunities
- Identify, Recruit, Develop, and Deploy volunteer leaders to serve within Young Adult Ministry programs and Connect Groups
- Provide consistent teaching, preaching, and/or facilitation for Young Adult gatherings, ensuring theological accuracy and practical application.
- Build intentional relationships with Young Adults through personal discipleship, campus visits, and community presence.
- Collaborate with appropriate GABC committees, staff, and lay leadership to provide facilities and resources, including space, equipment, and supplies.
- Partner with other ministries (College, Missions, Worship, etc.) to create cross-generational and cross-ministry opportunities for engagement.
- Effectively oversee expenditures for the Young Adult Ministry budget, ensuring responsible stewardship
- Maintain an active presence on local college campuses and in community spaces to foster outreach and evangelism.
- Perform pastoral duties as requested, including hospital visitation, pastoral counseling, weddings, and funerals.
- Maintain accurate records of ministry participants, decisions for Christ, and discipleship engagement.

Education and Experience:
- Seminary degree preferred (or working toward completion)
- Prior ministry experience preferred, especially in Young Adult, College, or Student Ministry
- Experience in teaching, discipleship, and volunteer leader development is highly valued
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- The candidate must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
- The candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of books, equipment, or materials.
- The candidate must be able to speak clearly and audibly in front of large groups of people.
