Iowa City Hospice is a community-oriented, not-for-profit organization that offers a work life balance culture and consists of a professional interdisciplinary team that provide exceptional patient-centered palliative care and grief support services to patients and families, regardless of disease, age, background or ability to pay.
This position is responsible for providing organizational quality assurance and process improvement activities and clinical staff education to ensure patient and family care is provided in accordance with Iowa City Hospice’s mission, industry regulations and the patient and family’s goals of care. We are seeking candidates with exceptional communication skills that provides a nice mixture of attention to detail, a love of new challenges and follow through that assures stability in an ever changing work environment
This is a full time Salary Exempt position with a work schedule that mirrors normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, plus Leadership Team on call duties.

Required: Master’s Degree in a Healthcare Related Field
Desired: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Quality Assurance or Healthcare Administration
Required within one year of employment
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPQH), or approved equivalent
Quality or healthcare education experience
Healthcare management experience
Proven ability to coordinate, facilitate, and motivate interdisciplinary teams
Required: Proof of license and current insurance coverage.
