The Steel Grinder will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding equipment to prepare steel components according to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Operation of Grinding Equipment: Operate grinding machines to grind and smooth steel surfaces, ensuring adherence to specified dimensions and tolerances.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections, using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.

Material Handling: Load and unload steel components onto grinding machines, ensuring proper alignment and safety protocols are followed.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lock-out/tag-out procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Steel Grinder or similar role in a manufacturing or steel processing environment.

Strong knowledge of grinding techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.

Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
