The Material MRP Coordinator oversees the material release process for the assembly and manufacturing processes supporting Internal Manufacturing, Preassembly, and Projects. This is a liaison between the design phase and the operations phase of the projects. This is a part-time role averaging around 24-29 hours a week.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for MBOM verification within MLM software of new or modified projects.
- Responsible for creation of routings and production orders for parts listed within MBOM of new projects.
- Responsible for treatment of Modification Change Orders on existing projects to release new part demands.
- Provides recommendations of internal versus external procurement on fabricated project parts.
- Support Procurement in identifying vendor capabilities and parts placement with vendors.
- Support disposition of nonconforming materials affecting the projects.
- Flexible with the ability to remain highly organized while addressing diverse responsibilities and maintaining workload.
- Keeps a customer focus when performing work and communicating both with internal and external customers.
- Is always striving to better themselves by taking personal responsibility to learn and grow while helping the department adapt and grow while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills
- Highschool Diploma, or equivalent GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and/or minimum of 5 years of Relevant Experience to Manufacturing Engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machining role (preferred)
- SAP applicable experience (preferred)
- Experience working with planning, purchasing, etc. in an MRP system
- Ability to read, interpret and work from Engineering Drawings
- CAD, DWF and PDF
- Ability to work hands on as a team player as well as independently as needed.
- Possesses demonstrated experience presenting and communicating with large groups.
- Must be available to work overtime when necessary.
- May be required to work off shift hours and holidays.
- May be asked to travel up to 10%
