Job Title: Tax Preparer

Pay Range: $14 per hour
Primary Location: Tax Site & Potentially Remote
Through tax assistance, advocacy, small business technical assistance and partnerships, Accounting Aid Society is focused on creating an economy that works for everyone. The Seasonal Tax Preparer has the opportunity to not only prepare taxes, but to educate clients on the process. Primary responsibilities include screening clients, preparing tax returns, promoting asset building/financial service products, and directing clients to other service partners.
Training will begin on January 4th. You will be provided 3 weeks of training and education. You must be able to pass both a tax training and certification test provided by Accounting Aid Society.
You must be able to work 6 days a week, including Saturday. Availability required for this position is: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; understanding that you will work 8 hours per day. Saturday hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
