We are dedicated to quality, safety, and innovation. Our San Antonio Division is growing, and we are seeking a Licensed Master Electrician to help lead and support our electrical operations in Texas.


Position Summary


The Licensed Master Electrician will serve as the lead technical expert for electrical operations in the San Antonio Division. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements, pulling permits, overseeing quality and safety on projects, and providing leadership and mentorship to journeymen and apprentices. The position combines license-holding responsibility with hands-on leadership and project oversight.


Key Responsibilities

  • • Serve as the Responsible Master Electrician (RME) for the San Antonio Division, maintaining compliance with TDLR regulations.
  • • Pull permits and ensure electrical work meets all state, local, and NEC codes.
  • • Supervise, train, and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices.
  • • Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and light industrial projects.
  • • Review and approve project plans, drawings, and electrical layouts.
  • • Perform inspections and quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance and safety.
  • • Work closely with project managers and superintendents to plan manpower and resources.
  • • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in the field.
  • • Maintain accurate documentation of permits, inspections, and compliance records.
  • • Support growth of the electrical division by contributing to estimating, job planning, and customer relations.


Qualifications

  • • Active Texas Master Electrician License required.
  • • 7+ years of electrical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • • Strong knowledge of NEC codes, state/local electrical codes, and permitting processes.
  • • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage teams.
  • • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
