Position Purpose
Investment team interns will contribute to the team’s quantitative and qualitative evaluation and monitoring of investments. This internship offers an opportunity to broaden understanding of investment philosophy and various investment strategies, while interns hone investment decision making skills through analysis and critical thinking. Candidates with a passion for investing are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities / Potential Tasks
- Monitoring GKFF’s portfolio of investments. Workstreams include updating overview tear sheets, scheduling of regular check-ins, leading meetings with companies, and reporting critical findings.
- Contribute to investment manager diligence processes through ad-hoc requests and research opportunities.
- Research investment strategies, sector verticals, geographic markets, and other areas that offer potential investment opportunities and provide findings to the investments team.
- Participate in weekly discussions to deepen knowledge and understanding of capital allocation philosophy.
- Work directly with senior members of the investment team on various initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you Will Learn / Gain During the Internship
- Basics of endowment and foundation investing and capital allocation philosophy.
- Fundamentals of asset allocation, portfolio management, and investment selection.
- Introduction to multiple investment asset classes including public equity, hedge funds, private equity, commodities, real estate, credit, and other forms of alternative assets.
- Exposure to investment opportunities in a wide variety of sectors and geographies.
Hours and Location
- This position is based at 7030 S. Yale Ave., Suite 600 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136.
- The work week will occasionally vary with advance notice depending on scheduled programming and other events; may require evening or weekend hours for special events or tours.
- Domestic travel required on occasion.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to attend in-person meetings.
