General Surgical Pathologist — Tampa, FL
Location: Tampa General Hospital (TGH), Tampa, Florida
Academic Appointment: University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine
RHA is seeking a general surgical pathologist with fellowship training to join our team at Tampa General Hospital, the region’s largest hospital and one of Florida’s only university-level academic medical centers. This role involves teaching medical students and residents and provides a wide variety of cases through TGH’s high-volume transplant and rapidly expanding cancer centers, offering meaningful opportunities for collaborative research.
Duties include:
• Sign out diverse general surgical pathology cases with subspecialty collaboration across services
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents rotating at TGH
• Participate in tumor boards and interdisciplinary conferences
• Contribute to quality initiatives and team-based, collegial practice operations

Qualifications:
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
• Fellowship training in an AP specialty (preferred: gynecologic pathology, pulmonary/thoracic pathology, dermatopathology)
• Prior experience preferred; however, new graduates welcome
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; productive, team-oriented work style
