Job Summary
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration,
operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to the Bank’s computer network infrastructure. This individual will communicate with appropriate personnel, providing technical support to the IT Department as well as all associates within the Bank. The Systems Administrator participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. As an integral member of the IT Department, the individual in this role will coordinate work within and outside the department, reporting pertinent information and responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist IT Management with servers, switches, routers, software deployment, etc.
- Endpoint remediation
- Patch management
- Active Directory management
- Helpdesk escalation Tier 2
- Printer and print server administration
- DMARC/SPF/Spam monitoring
- Automation of daily IT tasks, applications, backups, etc.
- Assist with new branch location setups
- Email administration
- Asset inventory tracking and reporting
- Assist with on and off-site backup rotation
- VPN configuration, testing, and rollout
- Firewall modifications
- Phone system administration
- Assist with Banking center physical security
- ISP point of contact for installations and outages
- Ensures BSA compliance by reading and being familiar with the BSA/AML program/policy
- following all BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures; and completing all BSA/AML/OFAC related online courses
- All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management
- Additional IT project list as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science
- 5+ years IT related experience in technical analysis and implementation
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory knowledge
- Knowledge of SaaS integrations
- Cloud Services
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take on assignments that are highly complex and multifaceted
- Understand, track and articulate issues, and action items
- Strength in ability to facilitate technical information exchange between IT team, internal business owners and outside vendors
- Must be a highly motivated individual who can work individually and in a team environment
- This will be an in-person position that will be based out of one our offices in Florida.
