As a medical laboratory technologist here at GMA, a qualifying candidate will need to be able to competently and proficiently perform a variety of functions, to include:

• Perform quality control and clinical laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration procedures on all tests and instruments in the lab.
• Answer laboratory related questions to patients, MAs, and physicians.
• No nights, weekends or on call shifts.
• Medical, Dental, vision, Life, Disability, Pet and Accident insurance. 

• Proficient in various clinical laboratory areas to include chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis.
• An associate's degree in clinical laboratory science or a bachelor's degree in a qualifying life science.
• At least one year experience in a qualifying clinical laboratory related position or a valid ASCP or AMT MLT certification.
