HTPD is urgently seeking two skilled and dependable Dental Assistants to join our growing pediatric and orthodontic dental team. 

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in pediatric dentistry and, ideally, some orthodontic experience. We’re looking for compassionate professionals who thrive in a team-oriented environment and are dedicated to providing an excellent patient experience for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists and orthodontists with chairside procedures and patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas in accordance with infection control protocols 
• Take X-rays, impressions, and digital scans as needed
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and treatment aftercare
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient record 
• Support front and back-office operations when needed to ensure smooth daily flow
• Travel between the Katy and Sugar Land offices as scheduled
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience (pediatric dental experience required)  
• Orthodontic experience strongly preferred  
• Current RDA or DA certification (as required by the State of Texas)  
• Current CPR certification  
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude  
• Reliable, organized, and a strong team player
