Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Installation Team Leader to oversee and coordinate installation projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. The Installation Team Leader will manage a team of installers, provide guidance on technical aspects, and ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of installers in the assembly and installation of equipment, structures, or systems.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily installation activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor team members, guiding best practices and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and equipment needed for installations.
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, following safety regulations at all times.
Requirements

  

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in installation, construction, or a related field, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of installation processes, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and operate tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.
  • Forklift certification or experience with heavy equipment (preferred but not required).
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment:

  • Job sites may include warehouses, industrial facilities, or outdoor locations.
  • Requires lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Safety gear such as helmets, gloves, and steel-toe boots may be required.
  • Work schedules may include travel and overtime based on project demands.
Salary Description
$23-$27 per hour based on experience
