- Perform detailed digital quantity takeoffs and unit-price estimates for earthwork, utilities, paving, and site concrete as a self-perform subcontractor.
- Review GC bid docs (plans/specs, addenda, RFIs), project manuals, and geotechnical reports; identify scope gaps, risks, and constructability issues.
- Draft clear scope letters with inclusions/exclusions, clarifications, and alternates; align with CSI divisions and bid form requirements.
- Solicit, level, and qualify quotes from suppliers and sub-tiers (e.g., trucking, traffic control, striping, materials) and build competitive buyouts.

- Build bid schedules/logic (conceptual through detailed) and coordinate phasing, access, and logistics with operations.
- Prepare proposal forms, SOVs, and GC portal submissions; support pre-bid/site walks and answer scope questions.
- Participate in internal reviews and estimate-to-field handoff meetings; provide takeoff maps, assumptions, and risk registers.
- Maintain historical cost data, benchmarking, and templates; support continuous improvement of estimating tools.
- Assist with change-order pricing, value engineering, and early budgets for negotiated pursuits
