Day Program NEEDS Reliable Support Staff
18-30 hours weekly/$17.25 per hour
Duties:
This person will perform a variety of duties and handle many tasks, and other duties that may arise. The ideal person will:
1. Answer the phone, take messages, and disperse to the proper person.
2. Forward calls or important messages
3. Maintain and organize files
4. Perform site-checks of the groups in the community to ensure staff work according to their daily schedule. (use own vehicle, mileage reimbursement)
5. Fill out paperwork
6. Send packets to clients
7. Create flyers/brochures, good at artwork
8. Maintain binders and files with updated paperwork
9. Make sure the submitted paperwork is correct
10. Assist case manager with needed tasks
11. Fill in for absent staff picking up clients in their own vehicle. When filling in, you must be able to work 5-6 hours/day with consumers. (mileage reimbursement 70 cents and 100/300 car insurance required)
12. Must be willing to have flexible hours
13. Will perform a variety of duties and must be prepared to handle many tasks at once.
14. Taking notes at meetings.
15. Help schedule appointments.
16. Inform of supplies needed to be ordered
- Make recommendations to management concerning procedural changes.
- Develop or update office procedures, policies, or standards.
- Coordinate activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments.

- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates: Confer with coworkers to coordinate work activities. Provide information to coworkers. Report maintenance or equipment problems to appropriate personnel.

Skills
The ideal person must be a quick learner and versatile. They should possess strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and a sound work ethic. They must be willing to learn. They need to approach their job with a positive attitude and have a thorough understanding of their company’s policies and overall mission. Strong computer skills WORD AND EXCEL are a must. Type 45 wpm, good with grammar. Excellent communicator with staff, customers, and must be able to conduct themselves professionally and courteously. Personal aptitude to solving problems, high intelligence, perseverance, orderliness, responsibility, drive toward and satisfaction at the attainment of goals, calmness and endurance under stressful conditions, consistency and predictability in the regular attendance to duty, individual initiative as well as participation in group efforts, correct estimation of specific circumstances, and effective communications skills.
Background
A high school diploma and ability to learn on the job.
