Are you looking to mold your future? WCC Hattiesburg is looking for a full time Quality Lab Tech to join the team. For more than 35 years the Western Container team has been ensuring that Cola-Cola Bottlers have the highest quality preforms and bottles available to them.

Typical day-to-day you should expect to perform duties that help maintain acceptable quality assurance practices, procedures, and standards for our products. Each day you would help check quality both in the lab and on the production floor, ensure compliance requirements are met for bottles, preforms, and raw materials. Assist with internal audits and learn more about our products and processes. This role will also play a part in overseeing the Food Safety and GMP Teams.

Who Are You?
Someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, basic proficiency on the computer with programs such as Word and Excel. Someone looking to gain new knowledge and skills with the potential for career advancement. You are able to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal. Interested in learning more about manufacturing, P.E.T. plastics, and continuous improvement. A team player who can also be self-motivated to complete tasks in a high-paced environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Ideally, you have a high school diploma or GED. You should expect prolonged periods of working on your feet and should be able to push, pull or lift up to 25 pounds at a time with assistance. Visual attention to detail is a must.
