Description

The Driver (NCDL) position is responsible for delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites in a timely manner. Customer service with customers is essential in this position when delivering material to job sites and customer offices. Safely driving within the DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving to deliver material and the loading and unloading of material within a pre-determined driving schedule.
  • Staging product onto the truck for delivery.
  • Maintains truck, performs daily pre & post trip inspections. Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Processes paperwork including, but not limited to; tickets, bills of lading, customer signed receipts and COD handling when specified.
  • Communicates any customer service issues addressed at the job site to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Will be required to work Warehouse positions as needed.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck, required.
  • Valid driver’s license to be maintained at all times in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
  • Ability to pass a Driver Background Check, required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical card, required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Driving Duties. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
