Description

The Driver (NCDL) position is responsible for delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites in a timely manner. Customer service with customers is essential in this position when delivering material to job sites and customer offices. Safely driving within the DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Driving to deliver material and the loading and unloading of material within a pre-determined driving schedule.
Staging product onto the truck for delivery.
Maintains truck, performs daily pre & post trip inspections. Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Processes paperwork including, but not limited to; tickets, bills of lading, customer signed receipts and COD handling when specified.
Communicates any customer service issues addressed at the job site to the Warehouse Manager.
Will be required to work Warehouse positions as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck, required.
Valid driver’s license to be maintained at all times in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
Ability to pass a Driver Background Check, required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical card, required.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Driving Duties. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
