  The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a Applications Engineer - Electrical Motor Market to join our Business Development team! This is NOT a Computer Software Engineer position
  

Annual Salary: $85,000+ (DOE)

Plant/Work Location: 9333 Dielman Industrial Drive, St. Louis, MO 63132

Market/Value Stream: Electrical Motor

Training: 3-6 months

We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters located in St. Louis, MO.


Job Summary

The  Applications Engineer - Electrical Motor Market is responsible for developing the technical expertise within the Electrical Motor Market and obtains an understanding of customer applications to assist customers with engineered solutions and to support the development of new products for the market.


Job Duties - Applications Engineer - Electrical Motor Market 

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for customer applications with an ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders in how our products and services can satisfy customer requirements. 
  • Support new product development projects from research, through planning and implementation.
  • Develop marketing content (data sheets, white papers, technical bulletins, advertising materials, technical video, webinar, application engineering profile, etc.) to promote our technical expertise.
     
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, required.
  • 0-3 years’ experience in a similar role (Product Application Support or Design roles will be considered) 
    • Recent Engineering graduates will be considered
  • Ability to understand customer’s application requirements and translate that into understanding internal capability      development.
  • Position is subject to meeting ITAR requirements

Preferred: 

  • Electrical Design
  • Insulation knowledge 
  • Manufacturing process for motors


Travel: 25%
