SetPoint Medical’s Regional Sales Manager will serve as a key commercial leader in launching and scaling the first-to-market, implantable bioelectronic device that targets the inflammatory reflex. This role offers a unique early-stage opportunity to help redefine the treatment paradigm for patients living with rheumatoid arthritis through a novel, non-pharmaceutical approach.


We are seeking a high-performing, challenger-minded sales leader who will drive regional growth, expand market access, and establish SetPoint Therapy across priority markets. This leader will oversee regional growth, build and mentor a best-in-class team of 6–7 Territory Managers, and partner closely with leadership to expand access and adoption. This individual will play an instrumental role in shaping how SetPoint’s breakthrough technology changes the standard of care for patients living with autoimmune diseases.


Requirements


Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, coach, and retain exceptional sales and clinical professionals.

• Build and mentor a high-performing team of Territory Managers, fostering accountability and collaboration.

• Provide field coaching, development plans, and performance leadership to ensure strong execution.

Regional Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute strategic regional growth plans aligned with SetPoint’s commercial priorities and business goals.

• Identify and onboard new medical centers, overseeing integration to ensure program readiness and physician success.

• Drive referral growth, patient engagement, and therapy utilization within assigned markets.

Market & Program Development

• Build trusted partnerships with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare decision-makers.

• Support physician onboarding, program integration, and patient pathway development to ensure strong market penetration and sustained utilization.

• Support physician training, education, and procedural preparedness in partnership with clinical teams.

• Strengthen long-term adoption by enabling efficient patient pathways and practice-level workflow integration.

Performance Management & Analytics

• Monitor and analyze regional performance data to ensure achievement of sales and utilization targets.

• Implement corrective actions and continuously elevate regional performance and consistency.

• Promote sharing of best practices, performance metrics, and success strategies across the broader sales organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Clinical, and Operations teams to support education, access, and awareness initiatives.

• Provide senior management timely, insightful feedback on market trends, payer dynamics, and competitive developments.

• Ensure field activities align with SetPoint policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3+ years of medical device sales leadership experience with demonstrated success driving regional performance. Preference for award-winning sales leadership in implantable and/or first-in-category therapies.

• Strong track record leading teams in early-stage, emerging-market, or high-growth environments.

• Experience navigating complex reimbursement landscapes, coding transitions, and payer strategy.

• Deep understanding of how to build and scale novel therapies through market development and physician engagement.

• Excellent communication skills with strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire high performance.

• Highly adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.


Preferred Qualifications: 

• MBA or advanced degree.

• Experience in neuromodulation, immunology, or other advanced therapeutic technologies.

• Background in building and scaling high-growth commercial teams launching disruptive medical innovations.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.  


Work Location and Travel:

This is a remote position requiring frequent travel within the assigned territory (up to 75%).

$190,000 Base
