Job Title: Ski & Snowboard Coordinator
Department: Outdoor Adventure/ Ski & Snowboard School
Status: Seasonal FT
Reporting To: Outdoor Adventure Admin Manager
Position Overview:
Powder Haven is our private terrain and exclusive community offering an elevated on-snow experience. The Ski & School Coordinator is primarily responsible for scheduling and managing the Ski & Snowboard School socials and programs for the Powder Haven program. This role requires a guest oriented, self-motivated individual to manage the bookings, member communication, and confirming reservations of the Ski & Snowboard school programs for the membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- The coordinator will support all bookings & reservations from members on the Ski & Snowboard school socials and programs.
- The coordinator will manage the membership communications on all the programming during the winter season, which includes reaching out to members on bookings and answering any questions on programming.
- Works closely with the sales team to sign prospective members up for the ski & snowboard school programs during their experience at Powder Mountain. This also includes providing detailed communication to Ski & Snowboard school, developing prospective member itineraries, and being a primary point of contact for our sales team to communicate prospective member needs.
- Dedication to building genuine relationships with members and driving business across the Outdoor Adventure and Ski & Snowboard School Programs
- This position is the primary point of contact for inquiries, communication and booking the Powder Haven Instructor Team.
- Ensure that when necessary, the correct rental equipment for the member(s) is arranged ahead of time.
- Collaborate with Powder Haven guest services, ensuring the member needs are met or surpassed.
- Keep Powder Haven member satisfaction at a high level.
- Support Outdoor Adventure operations in various daily tasks
- Create strong relationships with the Powder Haven members through written and verbal communication

- Pacesetter - for booking member clinics and SSBS requests
Requirements and/or Qualifications:
- Ski School (or equivalent) operations experience – preferred.
- Hospitality and/or guest services experience – required.
- Be polished, polite, resourceful and one-step-ahead of the needs of our guests.
- Desire to work at 9,000 ft elevation with exposure to inclement weather.
- Well spoken, articulate and ability to dedication to bring enthusiasm to your staff.
- Reliable transportation, or commitment to using UTA.
- Ability to work, weekends, holiday, evenings, on call.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to:
- Full range of body movements
- Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (40+lbs)
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
- Climb/descend stairs/ladders
Working Environment:
- The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions at a high-altitude mountain location
- Cold temperatures, often below freezing, are common, especially when assisting customers outdoors or moving equipment between locations
- Noise level can be moderate to high due to customers, equipment, and music in the area
- Exposure to snow, wind, and wet conditions are common and frequent
- Must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments environment during peak ski season with high customer volume
