Unlicensed Dental Assitant
Description

Responsibilities

  • Assistants hand instruments and materials to providers and keep patients' mouths dry and clear by using suction or other necessary devices. 
  • Assistants help sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
  • Assist in note taking and updating patient dental records.
  • Provide culturally competent care to diverse patients.
  • These are the main responsibilities, but there will be other duties as well. All of this is completed in a team environment! CLD team members are patient and organized so that they smoothly sort out potential obstacles in a timely manner, creating a calm environment for the patients, the team and yourself!
Requirements

Compensation: $16.00

Qualifications

School diploma or equivalent. Secondary education is a plus.

CPR training is not required but definitely a plus!

1-3 years customer service experience.

A desire to learn more about the dental industry.

Good computer skills.

Excellent communication and people skills.

Attention to detail, well-organized and reliable.

Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Oromo or Hmong a plus.

Hours

8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST - with 1 hour lunch break at 1:00 p.m.
