The Quality Control position is a very detail oriented position that requires a very thorough attention to detail. This person needs to be a leader and help others become detail oriented to help everyone be excellent.
Duties / Responsibility

- Always practice safe acts and maintain safe conditions
Daily Procedures
1. Color and edge need to match.
2. Dimensions and seams are correct
3. Make sure faucet holes are drilled and correct holes are drilled.
4. Check sink cut out to be sure the steel has been added.
5. Make sure all edges that are supposed to be polished are polished and are correct.
6. Look for chips, blow outs, saw cuts, and any other issues.
7. Make sure polish is good and that there are no surface scratches.
8. Use the correct sealer for the job.
9. Make sure all tops that go out the next morning are ready for install and grouped together.
10. Put away every top possible on wooden A-Frames.
11. Check over paper work make sure everything is accounted for.
12. Send end of shift e-mail stating that all is good or any issues that may have been missed. Photos are required of any and all issues.
13. Clean area thoroughly at the end of every shift, this includes rags, paper towels, cardboard, stickers and tape that were removed from the tops during the day.
14. Shut down shop according to the shut down procedure.
End of day task:
1. Send end of shift e-mail
2. If any tops are brought back by the installers, send an email to the Operations Manager and the shop Manager with a picture of the tops and a PO.
3. Clean area thoroughly at the end of every shift. The floor and staging areas need to be free of any and all rags, paper towels, cardboard, stickers, tape etc…
4. Shut down shop according to the shutdown procedure.
Job requirements:
- All tops must be checked after fabrication and polish to be sure that all tops are free of any defects.
- Once all tops have been thoroughly inspected they will staged for pickup.
- Keep all equipment operating at optimum performance.
