JOB SUMMARY
DKB Delivery Drivers are responsible for driving and delivering materials to vendors and job sites. This is a combined delivery and warehouse role, requiring regular loading, unloading, material movement, and general warehouse support. In this role, you must be able to work effectively in a team environment with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and care in handling cabinets and related materials. Drivers will routinely travel to multiple construction sites within about 5 miles of the warehouse, with occasional monthly or bi-monthly deliveries up to 50–70 miles away. A driver helper will be provided for all deliveries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Drive delivery truck (26-ft box truck, vans, or smaller trucks) to vendors and job sites.
- Load and unload cabinets and materials efficiently and safely using dollies and team lifting.
- Check accuracy of loads by reviewing Pull Sheet.
- Check in materials delivered by vendors and assist with receiving.
- Support general warehouse operations as needed.
- Follow best safety practices both on the road and while loading or unloading the truck.
- Navigate to construction lots using maps, GPS to closest access points, and onsite lot signage.
- Meet delivery deadlines consistently; prioritize accuracy, safety, and product protection.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Class E Driver’s License required (no CDL needed).
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to safely operate a hand truck, dollies, and other equipment.
• Must pass a motor vehicle report and 5-panel drug test per company policy.
• Ability to read and understand packing slips, bills of lading, maps for construction lot numbers, and simple written instructions.
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams preferred.
• Strong reliability and punctuality; must maintain consistent transportation to and from work.
• Customer-focused and safety-minded; able to represent DKB professionally at job sites.

• Must have the physical ability to move large and heavy cabinets using dollies and team lifting.
• Ability to drive for extended periods throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds.
