Your Role
As an Engine Disassembler, you’ll play a vital role in our production and recycling operations—helping prepare vehicles for processing and ensuring parts are safely and efficiently dismantled for reuse and resale. You’ll work hands-on with tools and equipment in a team-focused, safety-first environment.
What You’ll Do as an Engine Disassembler
- Promote a “Safety First” culture and follow all environmental, health, and safety standards
- Disassemble and prepare engines, vehicle components, and fluids for recycling and resale
- Operate tools and equipment such as air compressors, hydraulic shears, and CFC recovery units
- Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment and tools daily; report any needed repairs to supervisors
- Support vehicle preparation by removing fluids, electrical components, catalytic converters, and other parts per SOPs
- Maintain accurate reporting of parts and inventory levels
- Ensure all vehicles are properly secured during transport, processing, or dismantling
- Keep your work area organized and clean
- Follow the company dress code and always wear required PPE
- Assist teammates and contribute to team goals
- Work standard production hours (Monday–Friday), with some weekends or holidays as needed
What You Bring as an Engine Disassembler
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- General automotive mechanical knowledge
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and mobile device skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation
- Experience operating excavators a MUST!
Preferred:
- Experience maintaining or troubleshooting heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, forklifts, etc.)
- Basic auto parts knowledge
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
