Join us as a Sandwich Clerk!

We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Sandwich Clerk in our Chestnut Hill location. This position is full-time with an anticipated 35-40 hours per week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability between 12p-8p is required. If you have experience working in a team setting and a passion for great food, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include

• Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, and responding to requests.
• Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing meats and cheeses.
• Preparing special orders and party trays.
• Updating displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased.
• Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
• Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability between 12p-8p is required.
• A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op.
• Deli counter or food preparation experience preferred.
• Commercial kitchen experience, including knife skills, is preferred. 
• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication and people skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to remain standing for extended periods of time.
