Red Rock Orthodontics in Spanish Fork, Utah, is seeking a full-time Orthodontic Assistant to join their team. This entry-level position offers a dynamic role in a patient-centered practice known for its advanced orthodontic treatments and community-focused care.

Position Overview

As an Orthodontic Assistant at Red Rock Orthodontics, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the placement of orthodontic appliances such as separators, elastic chains, and wires.
  
• Preparing teeth for bonding procedures, including braces and Invisalign attachments.
  
• Scaling cement and checking for loose brackets or bonds.
  
• Monitoring patient oral hygiene and providing instruction on proper brushing techniques.
  
• Delivering instruments to sterilization and ensuring equipment is clean and organized.
  
• Taking X-rays, CBCT scans, iTero impressions, and assisting with charting notes.
  
• Debriefing patients and parents post-appointment to address any questions or concerns.
  
• Assisting the orthodontist during procedures and anticipating needs to support efficient workflow.
  
• Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, including stocking supplies and backing up sterilization processes.
  
• Participating in daily huddles and staff meetings to ensure cohesive team communication.
  
• Upholding office policies and representing the practice positively both inside and outside the office.
  

 Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience preferred).
  
• A self-motivated, organized, and positive attitude.
  
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and excellent communication skills.
  
• Exceptional public relations abilities and a commitment to delivering high-level customer service.
