HWH Transport is seeking CDL Class A truck drivers to join our Owensboro, KY team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting oversized and heavy loads safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various road conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy haul trucks to transport oversized loads to designated locations.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.

- Follow planned routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding load status and any issues encountered.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.

- Maintain logs of working hours or vehicle service and repair status, following state and federal regulations.

- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads to prevent damage during transit.

- Adhere to OSHA, state, federal, and company safety policies at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Class A CDL with double/triples endorsements.

- Proven experience with step and flat trailers required, RGN experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.

- Ability to pass drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
