Longmont Orthodontics is seeking an energetic and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dedicated orthodontic team. Experience & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the orthodontist chairside during treatment procedures, including braces adjustments, wire changes, and aligner visits. 
  • Take orthodontic records, digital scans, and X-rays as directed.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials between patients.
  • Educate patients and parents on appliance care, oral hygiene, and treatment expectations.
  • Support infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance.
  • Update patient charts and document clinical treatment details accurately.
  • Assist with lab tasks and retainers as needed.

Requirements
  • Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong motivation to learn are encouraged).
  • Comfortable working with braces, clear aligners, and orthodontic tools.
  • Radiology/X-ray certification and CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical environment.
