This role expands into cross-division collaboration—offering opportunities to support key initiatives in:

• Destination Management (DMC)
• Special Services

You’ll stay engaged year-round, broaden your skill set, and gain visibility across the organization while contributing meaningfully to the heartbeat of Outside Brands.

What You’ll Do (and Do Exceptionally Well)

• Champion, mentor, and motivate all Captains—developing talent and setting the tone for excellence.
• Lead training clinics, continuing education, and skill-up initiatives.
• Maintain boats, docks, gear, and facilities to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Oversee guest flow, reservations, and operational pacing to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Jump in on the water when needed—leading trips and supporting your team hands-on.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce marina SOPs.
• Elevate the check-in experience and support sales and booking processes.
• Monitor inventory, fuel logs, receipts, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate repairs, inspections, and maintenance partnerships.
• Manage opening and closing procedures with precision.
• Collaborate with Shelter Cove Marina partners to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Lead by example—modeling professionalism, hospitality, teamwork, and safety in every interaction.

What You Bring

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• A passion for people and the outdoors.
• Strong communication and leadership ability—you inspire others naturally.
• Comfort with operational systems and PC-based tools.
• Ability to stand, move, and thrive in an outdoor, marine environment.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and work with marine equipment.
• Experience in boating, hospitality leadership, marina operations, or outdoor recreation is a strong plus.
