Description
This position serves as the first point of contact for drivers arriving on site and provides clerical support for shipping and receiving activities. Additionally, this role supports. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
Reception & Clerical Duties:
- Greet and check in inbound and outbound drivers.
- Verify pickup numbers, bills of lading, and appointment documentation.
- Communicate dock assignments and relay critical instructions to drivers.
- Maintain accurate check-in/out logs and electronic tracking systems.
- Answer phones, route calls, and support general clerical tasks.
- Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Security teams.
- Support the processing and verification of inbound and outbound PODs.
- Assist with goods receipt, stock movement, and recall support as needed.
- Act and communicate in a professional manner to foster a positive work environment.
- Perform daily transactions in the ERP system, including inventory adjustments, pallet transfers, and confirming transfer orders.
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, and company food safety protocols.
- Maintain sanitary working conditions and report any concerns.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Fully bilingual: English/Spanish
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and general computer use.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and be able to multitask.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform occasional physical tasks in warehouse areas.
Preferred
- 1–2 years of clerical, logistics, or inventory experience.
