The Manager of Strategic Accounts is responsible for establishing and nurturing top client relationships, expanding agent participation, increasing revenue through strategic account growth, and ensuring the Ignite book of business consistently meets and exceeds key performance metrics.
This position requires a proactive, data-driven leader who seamlessly integrates high-level business strategy into client conversations while building strong, trust-based relationships. You will act as the primary point of contact for major accounts.
Compensation Overview:
The anticipated base salary for this role is $100,000 per year, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify influential carrier agents, partnering with them to drive business growth.
- Serve as the primary contact and trusted partner for top accounts, delivering white-glove service and strategically increasing account spend and agent count.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics, account KPIs, and pipeline data to inform decision-making and drive results.
- Recruit new business and win back former accounts, maintaining a strong pipeline of active agents.
- Develop and execute account plans with measurable short- and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to roll out new products, sales initiatives, and process improvements.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to represent the company and drive new opportunities.
- Create sales coverage analyses and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records in Salesforce and related systems.
- 5+ years of experience in the Insurance Lead Industry with a focus in insurance sales and marketing.
- 5+ years in Sales Leadership with proven ability to exceed sales targets as an individual contributor and managing a Sales Team.
- Have established, professional relationships with multiple insurance agents affiliated with State Farm, Allstate, and/or other major P&C insurance carriers
- Proven track record managing high-revenue accounts and achieving KPIs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and related sales tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to travel for 4+ trade shows annually
