GENERAL SUMMARY
The Compliance Manager implements and administers programs, policies, and practices to ensure that the organization complies with all applicable accreditation and regulatory standards
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitors and administers compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Acts as a liaison to government agencies and coordinates site visits for regulators.
- Investigates potential compliance violations and takes corrective action as necessary.
- Provides communication and awareness training of the organization's policies and procedures as they relate to patient care.
- Identifies and mitigates compliance risks across the organization.
- Assist in preventing, detecting and if necessary, reporting ethical and criminal misconduct.
- Briefs leadership on compliance issues and program status.
- Supports day-to-day program operations.
- Performs other position related duties as assigned.
- Employees shall adhere to high standards of ethical conduct and will comply with and assist in complying with all applicable laws and regulations. This will include and not be limited to following the Solaris Health Code of Conduct and all Solaris Health and Affiliated Practice policies and procedures; maintaining the confidentiality of patients' protected health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); immediately reporting any suspected concerns and/or violations to a supervisor and/or the Compliance Department; and the timely completion the Annual Compliance Training.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, law, audit, or a related field.
- Prior work experience in a healthcare privacy and/or compliance role.
