About This Role:
The Human Resource (HR) Generalist will act as a strategic partner to all levels of the organization by overseeing the daily functions of the AMG Human Resources (HR) department. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related issues, acts as an employee champion, and enacts meaningful changes to continuously enhance the HR department and the organization overall.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 3-5 years of comprehensive HR experience (preferably in a generalist role) or 5+years of experience as a HR Business Partner or Generalist. HR Professional Credentials highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with employee benefits programs, administering leaves of absence (LOA), and ensuring compliance with ADA accommodation requests and work restrictions.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities with the ability to hold strong and positive working relationships with employees and leadership.
- Aptitude to think strategically and creatively, with a strong focus on delivering results.
- Ability to quickly learn Accra’s key partnerships and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates proactive problem-solving and takes initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Person Centered thinking, emotional intelligence, and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality; handling and processing confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Advanced computer skills including internal office and organizational software, and the ability to gain proficiency with role specific systems. Proficiency in HRIS platforms, including advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities. Paylocity experience a plus.
- Ability to travel throughout Minnesota to various Accra offices.
