We are looking for a dynamic Janitorial Worker to maintain clean and safe environments in our facilities. As the bridge between hygiene and functionality, you’ll perform cleaning tasks to ensure a welcoming and professional space. Janitorial Worker Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a tidy appearance
• Collaborate with facility staff to address cleaning needs and schedules
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with regulations
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly
• Align cleaning tasks with facility standards and operational goals
• Communicate cleaning schedules and task updates to team members
• Additional job duties and or assignments as management requires

Janitorial Worker Qualifications and Skills

• Strong attention to detail and cleaning efficiency
• Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety practices
• Excellent reliability and time-management skills
• Experience with cleaning equipment (e.g., buffers, vacuums)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Stamina for lifting and repetitive tasks
• Safety-conscious and service-oriented approach

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in janitorial or cleaning roles
• Familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is a plus
• Certifications in workplace safety or cleaning (e.g., OSHA) are a plus
