Under the guidance of the Vineyard Manager, you will perform essential tasks that ensure the vitality of our vines and the overall success of our vineyard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prune dormant vines by removing dead wood to promote healthy new growth

- Assist with weeding, digging, hoeing, and planting activities to support vineyard development

- Install, maintain, and repair trellising infrastructure and irrigation lines

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas to ensure efficient operations

- Perform general vineyard care tasks as needed to support ongoing vineyard health and productivity

Skills and Qualifications:

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work carefully with vines and tools

- Prior experience in pruning, landscaping, farming, or outdoor manual work preferred

- Experience with hedgers, trimmers, or mechanical pruners is a plus

- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of irrigation or vineyard infrastructure is a plus

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Valid driver's license

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

- Good visual ability and manual dexterity

- Muscadine grape experience is a plus but not required

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Requires walking, standing, bending, and working with arms overhead
