Property Medics of Georgia is a Residential construction company whose main focus is on insurance related reconstruction.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Drywall Finisher/ Painter. We are looking for self-motivated, team players who genuinely care about their workmanship. We are always busy and have steady work all year long.

-Must be able to install and/or finish seamless drywall to include, but not limited to: 

• Apply drywall to walls or ceilings.
• Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building.
• Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints.
• Smooth out imperfections.
• Measure, cut, fit, and fasten panels.
• Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.
• Screw panels to wood or metal framework.
• Fill joints in-between panels with spackle.
• Use trowels to spread spackle.
• Press paper tape into compound.
• Smooth away excess material.
• Cover nail and screw depressions with spackle.
• Apply second and third coats of compound.
• Sand areas after each coast.

-3 years’ experience working with drywall installation and painting preferred. 

-Must be proficient at painting (usually interior), with strong attention to detail. 

-Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

-Must have a valid driver’s license. 

-Standard schedule is 40 hours or more a week, with possible overtime. 

-Must be self-motivated; works well individually.

-Must be a team player; works well with team.

-Must have excellent customer service skills

-Must be able to lift a minimum 70lbs without assistance.
