Residential Sales Specialist
Based in Montreal or Ottawa
Territory is Greater Montreal and Greater Ottawa markets
Position Summary: The RSS is a key player in the communication and marketing aspect of our sales team with a focus on increasing sales and market share in addition to achieving territory sales goals based upon business plans. The RSS is responsible for generating new relationships with K&B as well as maintaining existing relationships by providing customer service, updates, and sample maintenance. The RSS sets up tower displays, counter racks, etc. and follows up with clients on a regular basis, keeping the working relationship thriving and constant. Always looking for new venues to promote our company and product, the RSS uses his/her resources to find new ways to bring sales to the Territory Manager and company. This position requires an entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge and understanding of our products, and excellent communication and marketing skills.
Who you are:
· Have experience working with certified fabricators, retail, kitchen and bath (K&B) dealers, designers, remodelers, Lowe’s & The Home Depot stores and architects/designers
· Preferably have undergraduate degree in business or related field
· Prefer at least 2 yrs. min experience within the region for sales of solid surface (HI-MACS), quartz (Viatera) and porcelain (Teracanto) products
· Excellent oral and written communication English and French
· Strong organizational and technology skills
· Excellent Microsoft office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
· Excellent selling skills and strong marketing knowledge
· The energy and focus to achieve goals and be results driven
· Ability to work and think independently as well as within a team
· Have reliable transportation to hold 6’ tower sample boxes
Physical Demands:
· Position requires working on the road time visiting clients. Position requires travel up to 60-80% of time throughout the Greater Montreal and Greater Ottawa markets
· Position requires minimal lifting up to 60 lbs
· Position requires regular and reliable attendance
· Position may require up to 20% overnight travel
