Responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping systems and equipment. Responsible for all aspects of pouring concrete. Able to operate all equipment. This position will require some travel.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Manufacturer Certified to handle, install, and test both underground and above ground piping and fueling systems.
- Cuts, threads, and tapers pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting, and pipe threaders and benders.
- Assembles and secures pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, gluing, soldering, and threading joints.
- Inspects, examines, and tests installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Setting concrete forms and directing concrete truck drivers to ensure the pour goes smoothly.
- Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for quality issues.
- Communicate with Crew Lead on any equipment or labor needs.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment
- Communicates with Crew Lead and Manager to ensure customer’s expectations are being met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a construction related field.
- A valid driver's license with CDL-A.
- Ability to meet insurability requirement of a good driving record.
- Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operations.
- Ability to work out of town and overnight as needed.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for accuracy.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and other outside weather conditions. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to distinguish color change. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high.
