Job Summary: Customer Service

Respond to customer telephone inquiries, provide prompt and courteous customer service. Problem-solve with customers and serve as a point of contact for customer issues within the company. Demonstrate the organization’s core values of professionalism, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Functions/Responsibility:

  • Assist customers with quotes and inquiries on availability of inventory
  • Follow up with customers in outstanding quotes
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and vendors
  • Protect customer information in accordance with privacy laws
  • Respond and manage difficult customer situations in a professional manner
  • Input accurate customer data into database system
  • Assist with shipping of customers’ orders
  • Communicate with Manager and Supervisor on customers concerns
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Requirements

Education & Skills:

  • Must possess a valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Customer service background (preferred but not required)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, computer software & internet proficiency
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and management
  • Capability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on a fast pace environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks

Work Environment & Culture Skills:

  • Experience in Shipping and Receiving
  • Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency
  • Candidate must be able to read, understand, and write English
  • Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed
  • Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and flexible
  • Candidate must be able to multi-task, respect, and maintain confidentiality

Education / Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid unrestricted driver’s license, clean driving record
  • Experience in packaging parts shipments
