Description
Immersion Consulting is seeking a Junior HPE Morpheus Enterprise Consultant to support the delivery, operation, and expansion of enterprise cloud automation solutions for U.S. Government clients. This role is ideal for an early-career technologist who wants to grow into cloud consulting, automation engineering, and platform architecture while working alongside senior consultants in highly regulated environments.
As a Junior Consultant, you will assist with day-to-day platform operations, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation while steadily building proficiency in HPE Morpheus Enterprise, hybrid-cloud orchestration, and automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Support & Operations
- Assist with the configuration, administration, monitoring, and health of the HPE Morpheus Enterprise platform
- Support provisioning workflows, blueprints, instance lifecycle automation, and catalog services
- Monitor platform activity and help identify performance, reliability, and integration issues
Automation & Integration Support
- Assist in building and maintaining automation using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- Support integrations with hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including:
- VMware
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Help evaluate new Morpheus integrations, plugins, APIs, and automation patterns
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Troubleshoot common provisioning issues, agent communication failures, and platform errors
- Assist senior consultants with diagnosing orchestration and API-related issues
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident documentation
Client Delivery & Collaboration
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with client engineering and application teams
- Support proof-of-concepts, pilot efforts, and platform expansion initiatives
- Collaborate closely with senior consultants and engineers to learn consulting best practices and delivery standards
Governance, Documentation & Standards
- Assist with implementing and maintaining:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Tagging standards
- Approval workflows
- Policy and governance frameworks
- Develop and maintain:
- Runbooks
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Platform diagrams and architectural documentation
- Support compliance-aligned documentation in regulated environments
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- 1–2 years of experience in:
- IT operations
- Cloud operations
- DevOps
- Infrastructure support
- Basic understanding of:
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM)
- Linux systems and networking fundamentals
- REST APIs and basic scripting concepts
- Exposure to automation or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as:
- Ansible
- Terraform
- PowerShell
- Python
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn cloud orchestration, platform engineering, and consulting methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to HPE Morpheus Enterprise or similar Cloud Management Platforms (CMPs)
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid environments
- Awareness of Zero Trust security principles
- Interest in automation governance, platform design, and cloud architecture

Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience providing professional services. (Advance Degree and/or Certifications can contribute towards experience requirement.
• Travel as required.
